Just watched Mr. Bean’s Holiday last night, irritated me no end, seeing how some of the situations were so contrived and forced, made me cringe. Thankfully, Atkinson mentioned that this will be Bean’s last appearance. Let’s hope it remains that way. The only redeeming grace of the entire thing was the inclusion of the track “Crash” on the soundtrack. Originally performed by The Primitives, I first came across this track on the film Dumb and Dumber (which I enjoyed, sue me!) and it has stuck by me all this time. Now that it was resurrected, I’m attaching it here for your enjoyment.
I don’t mean to be a shill, but I’ve got to say that Burger King has a winner of a marketing plan, tying-in to the launch of the new Simpsons Movie with a new web service called Simpsonize Me. I tell you, everybody and his dog has just been Simpsonized and is using it as their avatars that frankly means only one thing, the marketing guys who thought this up is probably enjoying a nice fat bonus now. Watched The Simpsons Movie at GSC, 1U last Saturday with Piffles and Ghostline. ’twas pretty funny. Wanted to go watch Transformers instead, but the lady insisted and when the lady insists, the lady gets. Anyway, Pajiba has a review of the film up. Me? I’m too bloody lazy to review it here, so I’ll let Pajiba review it for me.
